Caymanian culture to hit the street

| 08/06/2015

Cayman News Service(CNS): In what will be a monthly celebration of all things Caymanian, visitors to Cardinal Avenue can get a taste of local food, and traditional arts and crafts, on Thursday, 11 June. The East End Pirates Week Committee and the Pirates Week Office are presenting the “Culture Shop! Street Fair”, from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Organisers are looking to give cruise-ship passengers a taste of Cayman while revitalising the George Town city centre for both locals and visitors. Food will be available from Alvin McLaughlin, Quiznell and Juanita’s Kitchen, Jamion Bodden and Daphine Kirchman.

To facilitate this event, Cardinal Avenue will be closed on the day of the fair from 7.00am to 5:00pm, from the Harbour Drive entrance to the Albert Panton exit.
