(CNS): The Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation (ESRF) annual fundraiser, which was rained out last weekend, has been rescheduled for Friday, 12 June. The details of the “Soul Train” event remain the same, taking place upstairs at the George Town Yacht Club, starting at 8pm.

DJ Chris Jackson will spin soulful tunes and New Generation will perform live. All previously purchased entry and raffle tickers will be honoured, with an additional spot draw for those at the event. Attendance is not necessary, however, to win the grand prize raffle of $1,000 worth of gift vouchers to local restaurants, shops, spas and other establishments.

All funds raised will go toward the ESRF 2015 grant programme, which supports non-profit organisations in line with the foundation’s vision: “Gender equality and a life free of violence for all”. The 2014 grant was awarded to the Cayman Islands Red Cross which hosted the girls’ empowerment conference, “Girls Will”.
