Assistant coach and manager Antwan Seymour said, “The boys are playing well and are scoring early in the games, which builds their confidence as the game progresses. We have a way we want the boys to play the game and it’s working. More importantly, we have yet to concede a goal, which is crucial when you play group games.”

The Cayman team plays Anguilla today (10 August) for a place in the quarterfinals.

The CFU Under-15 Boys’ Championships are being played in Anguilla and St. Maarten throughout this week. The 12 countries competing are divided into three groups of four – Group 1: Anguilla, Cayman Islands, St. Lucia and the US Virgin Islands; Group 2: Bonaire, Dominican Republic, Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis; and Group 3: Antigua & Barbuda, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Vincent & The Grenadines.

The top two countries from each group will advance to the quarterfinals scheduled for Wednesday, 12 August, with the semifinals set for Friday, 14 August and the championship game to be played on Sunday, 16 August; all of those matches will be held in St. Maarten.
