(CNS): Starting 1 October, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI) will be celebrating the month-long international festival known as “The Big Draw”. The gallery will be hosting the festival in Cayman for the third year, offering drawing activities for all ages and featuring various exhibitions and workshops.

Last year 414,000 people in 26 countries participated in more than 1,800 festival activities.

This year’s theme, “Every Drawing Tells a Story”, highlights the power drawing has to communicate and express stories through the powerful simplicity of this age-old art. The National Gallery will explore the art of drawing through a varied programme of free activities for both children and adults. All of the events are specially designed for those who love to draw, as well as for those who think they can’t.
