Queen Elizabeth II

(CNS): Nominations for the 2016 Queen’s birthday honours will close Friday, 30 October. The UK considers final recommendations for the Queen’s list, with the Certificate and Badge of Honour decided locally.

In addition to long service, nominations must detail the candidate’s outstanding, innovative or self-sacrificing services and achievements, whether paid or unpaid, and what has raised them above others performing similar services.

Governor Helen Kilpatrick will review all nominations before recommending candidates to the Royal, Ceremonial and Honours Unit at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.
