(CNS): Cayman HospiceCare has received another donation toward setting up a multi-purpose inpatient and operations facility in their new building. Law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman has donated $6,000, continuing their support of the non-profit organisation which is devoted to caring for those suffering from end-stage terminal diseases as well as their families. Over the years, the firm has given both financially and through employees volunteering.

Danielle Coleman of Cayman HospiceCare said of the donation: “Our new multipurpose facility has moved from a dream to becoming a reality thanks to so many generous people. These funds from Conyers takes us one step closer to having the facilities that we need within the new building.”

Conyers partner Paul Smith reiterated the firm’s ongoing commitment to the Cayman community and Cayman HospiceCare through its charitable giving programme. “As a firm, we feel strongly about making contributions that improve the well-being of those in need in our community,” he said.

“Cayman HospiceCare has an outstanding track record of delivering excellent care to people at a crucial time of their lives, whether patients or their loved ones. We want to be able to continue to support organisations that do so much good,” he said.

Plans for the new facility were submitted to the Department of Planning for building approval in March 2016.
