(CNS): After a three-year hiatus, the Miss Teen Cayman Islands pageant is on again, with the event set for Saturday, 27 August, hosted by the Lions Club of Grand Cayman. Seven contestants from across the Cayman Islands will be competing for the crown at the Lions Centre. In addition, organisers are bringing back the People’s Choice Award, with help from a local sponsor.

Pageant chairperson Elesha Graham said, “We’re delighted Flow has come on board as a major sponsor and they have reintroduced the People’s Choice Award. This gives everyone the opportunity to participate and they can vote for their favourite Miss Teen.”

Anyone interesting in voting has until 8:30pm on the evening of the pageant to weigh in by texting the first name of their favourite contestant from a Flow mobile to 5463. All texts are free.

Julie Hutton, head of marketing at Flow, said, “We’re excited to see the pageant resurrected and know the amazing experience that these young ladies receive through their training in the lead-up to the pageant. We’re looking forward to a fabulous evening, as the set for Miss Teen is usually pretty spectacular.”

Ticket prices for adults are $25 pre-sold and $30 at the gate, with children (6-12) $15 pre-sold and $20 at the gate. Tickets are available at Flow retail locations in Galleria Plaza and Countryside Shopping Village.
