(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its annual Red Dress Gala Friday, 10 February. The event is the organisation’s main fundraiser, with the money enabling the CHF to continue its programmes to raise awareness of and prevent and detect heart disease in the Cayman community.

The semiformal affair will feature dinner, 60’s rock ‘n’ roll music by band Sea n’ B, a live auction, raffle prizes and dancing throughout the evening.

The Cayman Heart Fund is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to educating the public, influencing policy and supporting access to high-quality healthcare through various programmes and initiatives, the CHF stated in a press release. Heart and circulatory disease, known as cardiovascular disease, is the top health problem in the Cayman Islands.

The gala, which starts at 6:30pm, is being held at the Kimpton Seafire Resort.
