Heart specialists to speak at conference

CNS Local Life(CNS Local Life): Doctors from four major Florida hospitals will be the guest speakers at the 11th annual Cayman Heart Fund International Symposium, set for 14 March. All specialists in heart disease, the doctors, representing Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Holy Cross and Jackson Memorial will be offering information on the latest research, current technology and advancements in cardiovascular medicine.

Dr Bella Beraha, International Symposium organizer and CHF vice chair, said that the topics and discussion will offer the Cayman medical community invaluable information, stated a press release.

In addition, the medical community can register for the conference and receive continuing medical education credits.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number cause of death globally; more people die annually from CVDs than from any other cause, said the press release.
