(CNS Local Life): Caymanian Joshua Bernard has qualified for his sixth consecutive Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) annual meeting in Los Angeles in June along with more than 13,000 of the top financial advisors worldwide. The event, being held 24-27 June, will include MRDT speakers, focus sessions and networking opportunities.

In his multiple achievements as a MDRT member Bernard, a Qualified Financial Advisor with British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited (BritCay) and Colonial Life Assurance Cayman Islands, has reached the top one percent of financial planners worldwide, stated a press release. Of those years he has qualified twice as Top of the Table, six times achieved standard MDRT membership, and three times Court of the Table, which is three times the qualifications of MDRT.

Bernard has 11 years’ experience in the financial services industry assisting high-net-worth clients to create, conserve and distribute wealth. He has closed on one of the highest plans in Cayman with a $96,000 annual premium, the release said.

Beyond that, his achievements and awards include top premium producer at BritCay since 2013, and vice president of the Cayman Islands Association of Financial Advisors.

“I believe the most important reason for having life insurance is to ensure that people are prepared for the unexpected,” Bernard said. “It’s always a pleasure to know that I can provide peace of mind for both families and business clients. I enjoy what I do for my community.”

BritCay general manager John Cameron congratulated Bernard, who has been with the company more than 10 years. “Joshua continues to raise the bar, returning as a Top of the Table honouree each year. He started as a qualifying member in 2013 but surpassed this level in 2016 and has maintained this status since then.

“This prestigious global recognition for a life insurance and investment advisor is an outstanding achievement and we are proud to call Joshua a member of our team,” Cameron said, adding, “With all said and done Joshua’s achievements, hard work and dedication makes him a remarkable individual who has made not only his employer proud but the Cayman Islands on a whole.”
