Cuba won the cup last year

(CNS Local Life): West Bay Sports Foundation is hosting the 2018 Cayman Airways Invitational Under 15 Youth Football Cup this week from Tuesday, 29 May to Saturday, 2 June at the Ed Bush Sports Field in West Bay and the Cayman Brac Field in Cayman Brac.

Group A, which consists of the Cayman Islands Boys Under 15 National Team, the Jamaica Under 15 Boys National Team, Portmore United from Jamaica and DC United from the US, will be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field.

Today (Tuesday, 29 May), the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boys National Team face their Jamaican counterparts at 6 pm and, at 7:30pm, Portmore United play host to DC United.

On Wednesday, 30 May, the Jamaica Under 15 Boys National Team face Portmore United at 6pm and the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boys National Team play DC United at 7:30pm.

On Thursday, 31 May, the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boys National Team play Portmore United at 6pm, while at 7:30pm the Jamaica Under 15 Boys National Team face DC United.

Group B, which includes defending champions, the Cuba Under 15 Boys National Team, San Antonio FC from the US and Harbour View FC and Mount Pleasant Academy from Jamaica, will play in Cayman Brac

Today the Cuba Under 15 Boys National Team go up against Mount Pleasant Academy at 6pm and Harbour View FC face San Antonio FC at 7:30pm.

On Wednesday, 30 May, Harbour View FC face Mount Pleasant Academy in the early game at 6pm and the Cuba Under 15 Boys National Team play San Antonio FC at 7:30pm.

On Thursday, 31 May, San Antonio FC play Mount Pleasant Academy at 6pm and the Cuba Under 15 Boys National Team take on Harbour View FC in the finale at 7:30pm.

The winners and runners-up in each group advance to the semifinals set for Friday, 1 June, where the winner of Group A meets the runners-up in Group B at 6pm and the winners of Group B face the runners-up in Group A at 7:30pm. Both semifinals are scheduled to be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field in West Bay.

On Saturday, 2 June, the two semifinal winners will meet at 7:30pm to crown the 2018 champions. Prior to the championship game, the two losing semifinal teams will play for third place at 6pm. The third place and championship games will be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field.

Tickets are $7 per person if tickets are purchased for only one night and $5 per person if tickets are purchased for more than one night.
