(CNS Local Life): The One Dog at a Time (ODAAT) charity has set up a thrift shop that will be open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, and Wednesdays, from 11am-4pm throughout the summer. The ‘New To You’ boutique will be stocked with designer clothes as well as hats, shoes and jewellery, with additional wares introduced every week. Clothes will be on sale for men, women and children, with cash only accepted for purchases.

The shop is located in unit 26 at the warehouses on Bodden Road, which run down the side of Kirk Home Store.

Funds raised through sales at the store will be used to help ODAAT continue rescuing pound pups and abandoned dogs.

Caroline Johnston, ODAAT vice president, is encouraging the community to become involved, stated a press release. “We are always looking for new fosters to care for dogs and puppies as well as volunteers to help with the many events we run, collect donations and now help to man our fabulous shop,” she said.
