The new stamp issue of the royal wedding

(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Postal Service (CIPS) has released a new collection of four stamps to commemorate the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Princess Meghan. The new stamps, valued in denominations of 25¢, 75¢, 80¢ and $1, feature the couple in four different poses.

Three stamps depict the duchess in “her signature white coat and flowing hair while the $1 denomination stamp has her in a stylish brown beret and a fawn-coloured coat”, said a government press release.

Additionally, a first day cover (FDC), selling at $3.60, is being issued with the stamps. The set also provides information on the May royal wedding and the couple.

The stamps are available for purchase at all post offices in the Cayman Islands. The FDC issue is also on sale at the Seven Mile Beach Post Office in West Shore Plaza, at the General Post Office in George Town and at the Hell Post Office in West Bay.
