Sunrise students and staff, along with officials, mark the special day

(CNS Local Life): Staff and students of the Sunrise Adult Training Centre, all wearing yellow T-shirts, travelled to George Town Monday, 3 December, to join Acting Governor Franz Manderson and other government officials on the steps of the Government Administration Building to mark International Day for Persons with Disabilities.

The event was part of a busy few weeks planned in the lead-up to the holidays, a press release said.

On Wednesday, 12 December 2018, the public is invited to a Sunrise Family Christmas Service, in the John Gray Memorial Church Hall starting at 6:30pm. The theme of this year’s service is “Jesus is the Light of the World”, and all Sunrise clients will feature in the programme. While attendance is free, Sunrise extends its appreciation for any donations the public may wish to make, the release said.
