Prince Charles meets ‘Blue Peter’ at the Botanic park

(CNS): The National Trust for the Cayman Islands has received a donation from Prince Charles for the Blue Iguana Recovery Programme. While he and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, were visiting the Cayman Islands earlier this year, Prince Charles had an encounter with an iconic blue at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. No details of the donation have been revealed but it was clear that the prince was truly captivated by ‘Blue Peter’ the iguana he met at the park, creating a unique photo opportunity that generated a great deal of good PR for the conservation programme.
