Neighbours join crime fight in Bodden Town

Belford Estates Neighbourhood Watch group

(CNS Local Life): Community police officers in Bodden Town have joined with residents of Belford Estates to launch a new neighbourhood watch group. Bodden Town CPD officers PC Garcia and AC Pascal gave a presentation lasst weekend to the residents who have committed to reporting suspicious activity and crime to the police to help with the peace and tranquility in their community.

This is the nineteenth neighbourhood watch in the district of Bodden Town, with one more expected to be organised before the end of the year.

Minister Dwayne Seymour, the MLA for Bodden Town East, the constituency where the Belford Estates neighborhood is located, encouraged residents to continue to work with the police. He said a neighbourhood watch can help create safe communities and the security of residents, their homes, and possessions.
