FDA Recall: Ranitidine Products
The FDA has ordered a recall of all Ranitidine products, due to manufacturing issues. Patients taking any form of prescription Ranitidine (tablets or liquids) have been asked to discontinue and contact their doctor for an alternative. Persons have also been advised not to purchase over-the-counter Ranitidine products (e.g. Zantac®).
Statement on telemedicine from health insurers
In support of the ‘Stay Home Cayman’ directive, the approved health insurers are working with qualified health professionals to facilitate telemedicine consultations where necessary. Telemedicine consultations are subject to the Standard Health Insurance Fee (SHIF) reimbursement, based on the duration of the calls. Please check with your individual health insurer for clarification if needed.
HSA expands pharmacy services to new location
Starting Saturday 4 April, the Health Services Authority will be dispensing prescription refills for CINICO and private insurance members with 100% coverage from our new location at Smith Road Centre, first floor.

Port Authority notice for the collection of cargo
The Port Authority wishes to advise the public that due to space limitations it will issue an exemption letter to allow persons that have imported cargo to clear and collect their goods. The exemption letter will be for a specified date and time and is valid only for the collection of cargo.
