Emmy award winner to star at CayFilm
(CNS): International film star Brian Cox, who played Ward Abbott in the Hollywood blockbusters The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy, will be heading the guest list at the Cayman International Film Festival next month. The Scottish-born actor who has a list of movies under his belt, from Braveheart to Troy, as well as the recent NBC mini-series The Slap, won an Emmy for his role in the mini-series Nuremberg.
The 68-year old actor will also be on the big screen this summer in Pixels, an action/comedy/sci-fi which stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James. He will star alongside Demi Moore, Kiefer Sutherland and Donald Sutherland in Forsaken, which is scheduled to be released later this year.
CayFilm is set to take place from 18 to 20 June, when 200 films selected from more than 600 submitted from 56 countries will be on show. The categories include animation, narrative features, environmental focus, documentaries and extreme sports.
Tickets are now on sale for the festival, which includes daily film screenings, question and answer sessions with film-makers, panel discussions, workshops, an exclusive premiere screening and a celebrity gala event.
