Court of Appeal president retiring in January
(CNS): Sir John Chadwick will be officially retiring next month as president of the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal after seven years in that position. He held his last sitting in that post in late November. His successor, Sir John Goldring, is scheduled to be sworn in as president on 20 January.

Immigration staffers bring Christmas to children’s ward
(CNS): Representatives of the Department of Immigration visited the paediatric ward at Cayman Islands Hospital on Friday, 18 December to deliver presents for the young patients. Through drives at immigration headquarters and its location at Cayman Centre, staff collected more than three boxes and three bags full of toys and books.
