Youth Parliamentarians debate abortion and public transport
(CNS): More than 20 students from Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman participated in two debates during the ninth Youth Parliament held Monday, 14 March, to commemorate Commonwealth Day. The topics they chose to discuss were legalising abortion and the establishment of a master public-transportation system.
Filmmaker Flowers to host special screening of Haven
(CNS): Caymanian filmmaker Frank E Flowers will be reuniting some of the cast and crew of his first feature, Haven, and debuting a special cut of the movie during the CayFilm festival in July, ahead of the 10th anniversary of the film’s theatrical release, which is being marked in September this year.
