Cayman referees officiate at CONCACAF matches
(CNS Local Life): Three referees from the Cayman Islands are officiating this week in CONCACAF 2017 competitions. Dee-Ann Foster and Dwight Cummings are among 62 match officials selected to participate in the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Under 15 Boys Championship, taking place in Bradenton, Florida, from 13-19 August.
Cayman Brac student wins laptop
(CNS Local Life): Matthew Giscombe of Layman E. Scott High School was recently awarded a new HP laptop for participating in a quiz on the financial-services industry at the school’s career fair in March. Cayman Finance CEO Jude Scott presented the prize, given to a randomly selected student who scored 100% on the quiz.
