East End Post Office may get ATM
(CNS Local Life): Minister for Finance and Economic Development Roy McTaggart led a ministry team on a visit to the East End Post Office to assess the feasibility of installing an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) for the direct benefit of all East Enders but particularly the district’s elderly.
The visit, on Wednesday, 11 April, was arranged at the invitation of East End MLA Arden McLean.
Accompanying McTaggart were Financial Secretary Kenneth Jefferson, Senior Assistant Financial Secretary Anne Owens, Postmaster General Sheena Glasgow and Postal Service Mails Manager Henry McField.

If one of your people “forget” to get cash on way home, we have to drive all the way back Savannah or to Fosters next to Morritt’s. This is ridiculous… I live Rum Point and if I run out of cash, I’m lost until I drive back out of the “land that time forgot”… Just saying what everyone has been saying for years!
