Caitlin Tyson readies for Miss Universe pageant
(CNS Local Life): Caitlin Tyson, the reigning Miss Cayman Islands Universe, has been preparing for the upcoming 67th annual Miss Universe pageant in December in Thailand. She is in the US training with Anastagia Pierre, a renowned pageant coach who provides guidance in such areas as runway, etiquette and wardrobe, said a Miss Cayman Islands Universe press release.
Committee chairperson Derri Dacres-Lee was delighted that the committee has once again secured training with Anastagia, who has trained some of Cayman’s past queens, the release said. “This training will provide Caitlin with extra support and guidance for her pageantry experience, from which she will benefit in many ways,” Dacres-Lee explained.
“This would not be possible without the continual support of our corporate and in-kind sponsors, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continual support in the lead up to Miss Universe and throughout the year.”
This year’s costume for Miss Universe was designed by K. Rose, a luxury evening wear and bridal brand based in the Cayman Islands, founded in 2015 by designer Kenzie Rose. Tyson will soon be departing for the Miss Universe pageant, with the pageant date set for Sunday, 16 December. The committee will also be hosting a viewing party for the pageant at a local venue and will share details once confirmed, the release said.
