Garden Club holding fun day at Botanic Park
(CNS Local Life): The Garden Club of Grand Cayman is holding its annual Family Fun Day at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park on Sunday, 20 January, from 10am to 3pm. The club organises the event to encourage residents to learn about and visit the park.
This year’s event will not only increase awareness of the planned Children’s Garden, but also raise funds for its completion set for later this year, stated a press release.
The fun day will host activities for the whole family including craft making, games and a magic show. The public can also enjoy exploring the Woodland Trail, Butterfly Trail and the Heritage Garden. Raffle tickets, food, drinks, treats and select plants will also be on sale.
Admission is $5 per person, with entry free for children 12 and under.
For information on the event, email John Lawrus, general manager of the Botanic Park, or Ora Hollebon, president of the Garden Club.
