Christmas fair celebrates Cayman

(CNS Local Life): The first Cayman Christmas bazaar at the Market at the Cricket Grounds will be taking place Saturday, 10 December. A celebration of all things local, from Cayman-style cooking to Christmas gifts and music, the event will also shine a spotlight on the abundant fresh produce available from the farmers’ market.
Located in George Town across from the Red Cross building, the new market venue is being highlighted as a show of appreciation for local farmers, artisans and patrons.
The day will begin with a visit from Santa at 9am. The bazaar will also feature a bouncy castle, a raffle of Caymanite jewellery, and prizes of gift baskets full of fresh produce, local fruit, sweet treats, desserts and smoothies.
