Fire Service donates smoke detectors
(CNS): As part of an ongoing fire-prevention and safety-awareness drive, the Fire Service installed free smoke detectors in a number of homes on both Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. The recipients were five senior citizens, some of whom are house bound.
Fire officers welcome back sick colleague
(CNS): The Cayman Islands Fire Service turned out on the Owen Roberts International Airport tarmac to welcome Station Officer Percival Whorms back to the Islands on Monday, 21 December. Veteran firefighter takes top employee honours
(CNS): Fire Service Station Officer Richard McLaughlin has been named the Deputy Governor’s Employee of the Month for August 2015. With 33 years’ experience in the Cayman Islands Fire Service, McLaughlin is considered an asset by his superiors, and a role model by colleagues.
