LIFE adds more books to classroom libraries
(CNS Local Life): The Literacy is for Everyone (LIFE) charity recently donated a record-breaking more than 4,300 books to Sir John A. Cumber Primary School (SJACPS), exceeding by about 800 last year’s total of reading materials given to the school. LIFE organised the donation, with the books collected from various private firms and schools islandwide.

YMCA to continue after-school programme
(CNS Local Life): The Education Ministry has renewed its contract with the YMCA of the Cayman Islands to allow the Y to continue managing and operating the Extended After-School Programme (EASP). The programme services 15 government schools in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, providing after-school activities for as many as 1,600 students.
