CIFEC students gain from law firm internships
(CNS): Four students from the Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC) spent the summer as interns for law firm the HSM Group, gaining experience in areas such as debt collection and intellectual property. Dwight Lawrence, Shantell Ritch, Anisha Ritch and Victoria Whittaker were the students who joined HSM’s summer internship programme.

(CNS): The Chevening Secretariat is accepting applications for its 2017/2018 scholarships, which are awarded to individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and also have strong academic backgrounds. The scholarship offers financial support to study for a master’s degree at any UK university and the opportunity to become part of an influential global network of 46,000 alumni.
Scotiabank supports local students
(CNS): Scotiabank recently awarded five Caymanian students US$5,000 each to assist in paying for their university education overseas. The bank’s student bursary supports young Caymanians in financial need looking to pursue an undergraduate degree in business or finance at a college/university overseas, helping them bridge the financial gap to fund their future.
