Healthcare Conference opens this week
(CNS): The sixth Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference is taking place from 29-31 October at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. In addition to listening to presentations from some of the world’s top healthcare professionals, attendees will also be able to participate in one of three interactive workshops on the topics of mental health, non-medical therapies and end-of-life decisions.
Father races to launch ‘Hart for Hearts’ fundraiser

HSA readies flu vaccine throughout Cayman
(CNS): Starting Wednesday, 21 October, people can receive the flu vaccine at the Cayman Islands Hospital, District Health Centres in Grand Cayman, Faith Hospital on Cayman Brac and the Little Cayman Clinic. Acting Director of Primary Health Care Dr. Samuel Williams-Rodriguez explained this year’s vaccine will also protect against the 2009 H1N1 pandemic flu.
