Swim team named for CCCAN championships
(CNS Local Life): Cayman is sending 11 swimmers to compete in the Central American and Caribbean Swimming Federation (CCCAN) championships in Barbados, taking place from 28 June to 2 July. The competition is an age-group swimming championship with 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 and 18 and over categories.

Cayman’s swimmers competing at regional event
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands National Swim Team is competing at the Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championship (CCCAN) being held in Aruba, having travelled there Wednesday, 27 June. The championship takes place every other year and it has been more than five years since Cayman has sent a team.

CIASA recognises generations of swimmers
(CNS Local Life): Almost 200 people attended the recent Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association (CIASA) awards gala brunch, which recognises both swimmers and volunteers from 7 to 70 years old for their achievements and contributions to swimming. In addition to the awards, there was a silent auction and other fundraising activities during the event.
