Queen’s birthday celebrated in style
(CNS): The Queen’s birthday was once again celebrated with plenty of pomp and circumstance, highlighted by a parade and an awards ceremony. New air traffic controllers to take off
(CNS): Two young Caymanians are on their way to becoming air traffic controllers (ATCs) after completing an intensive training course at the Civil Aviation Authority Training Institute in Trinidad and Tobago. Davina Bush-Jackson and Derrin Brandon recently finished the seven-month course on aerodrome and approach procedural control.
GREEN group continues Brac clean-up
(CNS): The Sustainable Sister Islands GREEN Team will be holding its next underwater clean-up in the West End area of Cayman Brac 14 July at 11:00am, following a similar event earlier this month. Divers and their shoreline supporters recently cleared all kinds of debris from the Panama Canal/Handcuff Reef area.
