(CNS): Bill Hrudey, the founder and sponsor of the observatory at the University College of the Cayman Islands, has been turning his attention to prominences, including a pillar prominence, on the sun’s surface and captured images of the phenomena on Monday. Hrudey posted some of his amazing pictures to the Space Weather Gallery, which can be seen here.
