(CNS): Staff members from the Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) decided to do their part to give back to the veterans, with chief security officer Shane Bothwell, who is also a vet, dressing in his army uniform on Friday, 6 November, to pass out poppies to the airport staff.

The CIAA has six veterans on staff including Bothwell. The authority’s CEO Albert Anderson spoke about the poppy effort. “I am glad that our staff could get involved this year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our veterans on staff and in the Cayman Islands for their contributions to ensuring the freedom we have today,” he said.
