Attorney recognised for volunteer work
(CNS): Attorney Benjamin Woolf has received the Lee A. Freeman award for volunteering his legal services to the local community, as part of the Family Resource Centre’s (FRC) Legal Befrienders clinic. FRC programme coordinator Miriam Foster explained the award is named in honour of a much-valued volunteer.

Community comes out to boost DG’s charity event
(CNS): Walkers and runners turned out in force Sunday, 24 April, for the 2016 Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge, raising money to help Cayman Heart Fund buy a new ambulance. The early-morning charity challenge attracted more than 1,000 registered participants and a large crowd of cheering well-wishers.
Youth Flex completes 39th season on air
(CNS): The Youth Flex radio show will sign off on its 39th season on Wednesday, 27 April, with a focus on the upcoming elections. Representatives from the Elections Office will join the panel to encourage young voters to register for the 2017 general elections.
Long-serving prison officers honoured
