(CNS): One lucky ticket holder won a new car at the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise annual raffle drawing held Saturday, 16 April. Grand prize winner Jirarat Phelps claimed the 2016 Audi Q5, with club president Christine Mathews handing her the keys. Andrew Barker won the second prize of a weekend getaway to any Delta Airlines destination in North America. Joy Solomon took the third prize of $500 cash.

For the raffle draw, Rotary Sunrise organised a family fun day at the outdoor centre at A L Thompson’s. Kids and adults who stopped by were able to enjoy free face painting and a bouncy castle, with refreshments for sale.

This year’s raffle raised almost $40,000 to give back to projects and charity efforts within the Cayman Islands.

Rotary Sunrise is celebrating 14 years in Grand Cayman and continues to work with other charities, and organise projects geared towards literacy, the youth, and health initiatives.
