(CNS): The George Town Library is in the process of putting together a permanent collection of works by local authors. Known as the Cayman Islands Collection, this will include cultural and historical material, and will be housed in the historical library section of the building currently being renovated.

Adding to the collection, wedding planner Jo Anne Brown recently donated a signed copy of her newly published coffee table book, Caribbean Wedding Style.

“We are delighted to have been given a copy of Caribbean Wedding Style by Jo Anne Brown,” said Director of Cayman Islands Public Library Service Ramona Melody. “We hope to feature many more authors and have their work on our shelves permanently, as we have lots of books to be proud of in the Cayman Islands.”
