Stingray awards nominations announced

(CNS): The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) has received the most nominees ever for this year’s Cayman Stingray Tourism Awards, which recognises talent within Cayman’s tourism sector. Now in its 13th year, the event will take place on 21 June at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

Tiffany Dixon-Ebanks Executive Director of CITA says, “I would like to thank all who have come on board so far to sponsor the 13th annual Cayman Stingray Tourism Awards. We certainly appreciate the support. I also would like to wish all Nominees the best for the night, and note that each nominee should indeed be proud of their individual accomplishments.”

Every Nominee from the Accommodation (hotel and condo), Allied/Attraction/Transportation, Restaurant, and Watersport sectors will be acknowledged during the gala and the winner of Employee and Manager of the Year, for each sector will be announced.

The awards gala starts with a cocktail reception at 6pm. Dinner and awards will begin at 7pm. Tickets are CI$90 per person or $850 for a table of 10 persons.
