Last chance to sign up for arts camp
(CNS): Registration closes Friday, 15 July, for children who want to take part in the Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) Summer Arts Camp. Set for 11-19 August, the camp is open to students aged 7-16, with children 6 years old accepted if an older sibling is enrolled in the camp. Participants will engage in activities that focus on the visual, traditional and performing arts, with classes including drama, storytelling and dance.
The young people will also get to take part in field trips that highlight Cayman’s cultural and maritime heritage.
The cost for the seven days is $150 per child, which includes snacks and lunch.
The CNCF is also seeking a camp leader and three performing arts teachers for the programme who have management and teaching qualifications in the fields of drama, voice (singing) and dance.
