Looky Ya(CNS): The Cayman Islands National Museum is celebrating all things mango Saturday, 16 July, from 3pm-8pm. The first annual Mango Season at the Museum is free and open to the public. Among the attractions are food and mango products, a mango peeling and eating competition, music by local artists, and arts and crafts for children.

The family-friendly event, taking place during the heart of mango season, is a nod to the popular fruit that is abundant and varied in Cayman. The mango evokes memories among many residents of searching for the right tree to climb every year to pick the perfect fruit.

Organisers are asking anyone interested to use the hashtag #DatsAMangoStain on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to create a conversation and to share their experiences.
