(CNS Local Life): Sunrise Adult Training Centre had a full house for its annual Christmas play, performed Wednesday, 7 December. This year’s production was “The Innkeeper’s Dilemma”, which was set at the fictional Bethlehem Bed & Breakfast. There were 28 Sunrise clients taking part in the play, while all of the centre’s staff were involved in supporting roles of director, musical director, stage managers and ushers, as well as assisting the actors on and off stage and speaking a few lines of their own.

Carols were sprinkled through the production, with the audience invited to sing along with the cast.

“It was a great night, the production went really well and everybody enjoyed themselves,” said Kimberly Voaden, the centre’s acting director.

A variety of crafts were on sale at the John Gray Memorial Church West Bay, where the play was held, with the proceeds going towards Sunrise Centre programmes.
