Equestrians put on final jumping show of season

(CNS Local Life): The fourth and final leg of the National Jumping Series was held this past weekend at the Equestrian Centre, with the highlights the double wins by Leah Alberga in the 60cm horse class on Rambo and the 80cm pony class riding Moon Lady, and by Jodie McTaggart in the 80cm horse and 90cm open classes on her horse, Nala.

Here is the complete list of winners on the day:

With the last jumping show of the season complete, the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation (CIEF) will soon announce the names of the Series’ Champions at its annual awards dinner. The centre is located off the Linford Pierson Highway in George Town.

The CIEF is the national governing body for equestrian sport in the Cayman Islands and it holds nine horse shows each year, which are open to all of its members. The final event of the 2017-18 show will be the fourth National Dressage Show which will be held on 6 May, starting at 8am at the Equestrian Centre and 2:30pm at Cayman Riding School on Hirst Road in Savannah.
