CITA names Stingray Tourism Awards nominees
(CNS Local Life): Nominations have been announced for the Cayman Stingray Tourism Awards, organised by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association [CITA], which will take place 17 July and are now in their15th year. The winners of employee and manager of the year for each sector, along with the Diamond and Rising Star awards will receive a cobalt blue, hand-blown glass stingray.
“With the high calibre of nominations this year, I would like to extend congratulations to all nominees for their dedication and contribution to our tourism product,” said Tiffany Dixon-Ebanks, CITA executive director.
“Each person is a winner in their own right and I wish everyone the best at gaining the prestigious glass rays. I encourage members of the Cayman Islands community to come out and support these talented individuals on awards night. With our past year of record-breaking visitor arrivals, it is very fitting to recognise those that ultimately drive the success of this industry.”
The public is invited to attend the event, which takes place at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. Tickets cost $95.40 per person or $875 for a table of 10. The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6pm, followed by dinner and the awards at 7pm.
