Government volunteers help elderly resident

(CNS Local Life): As part of the annual worldwide observance of World Breastfeeding Week, held every 1-7 August, the Health Services Authority (HSA) and Public Health Department held a luncheon to honour the Cayman Islands Breastfeeding Support Group, described as “one of breastfeeding’s greatest local supporters”.

Basketball event nets funds for NCVO
(CNS Local Life): The fourth annual Shooting Stars 3-on-3 basketball tournament took place this past weekend with funds raised benefiting the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). The 48 players on 13 teams competed in three age divisions at the games held at the Camana Bay Arts and Recreation Centre.
