(CNS Local Life):  For every donation shoppers make to the Cayman Heart Fund when visiting the Celebrations Christmas Wonderland store during December will get those funds matched by the company. The money donated will support the charity’s mission to prevent and reduce early deaths, long-term disabilities and widespread suffering that heart and circulatory diseases may cause.

CHF chairman David Dinner said of the initiative, “Christmas is a time for fun and laughter with friends and family. We are so fortunate to have a supporter like Ms Joanne Brown, her team at Celebrations Ltd and certainly all their customers for supporting our mission to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in the Cayman Islands.”

Brown added that “charity giving throughout the season is a great way to not only warm the hearts of those in need but also the hearts of our customers and staff by providing a platform to be able to support such a worthy initiative.

“Too often, the only sign of heart disease is sudden death. In addition to raising funds towards CHF, our team hopes to educate and influence the public to adopt healthier lifestyles throughout every season.”

Donations may be made at Celebrations, located at 64 Kingbird Drive (immediately following the main office of CUC and before arriving at the George Town Yacht Club). Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
