CIAA enhances customer service at airport
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA), as part of plans to improve customer service, has launched a programme placing “ambassadors” around Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) to welcome people, provide information, and assist arriving and departing passengers, especially those with special needs and families with young children.
The ambassadors will also be responsible for monitoring the appearance of the terminal building, as well as managing the flow of passengers through the building, particularly during peak periods, CIAA said in a press release.
“We are thrilled to have this programme up and running as we recognised the need to bridge the gap of providing exceptional customer service,” said Ivis Matute, CIAA customer service manager. “Our mission is to provide a warm CaymanKind welcome to all those who pass through ORIA’s doors and to continually raise the standards of customer service at the airport.”
CIAA has nine ambassadors in the programme but continues to recruit, with the goal of hiring a total of 20.

We met one of the Ambassadors last weekend and she was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
