(CNS Local Life): The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman has a new board of officers and directors for 2019-2020, officially installed by District Governor David Kirkaldy. Joel Porter, who will serve as president, said at the recent ceremony his goal for the year is to forge closer working relationships with the other Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in the Cayman Islands, as well as other service clubs and associations.

“We are all working towards the same goal, so why not work together more and pool our resources to make a greater impact in our community,” Porter said in a press release. “I’m looking forward to working with my board, as well as the other clubs, for a great year of service through collaboration. Together we can all achieve more.”

Porter’s goal is in keeping with the Rotaract District 7020 theme for the 2019-2020 year, “Impact Through Unity”.
