Time to sign up for the DG’s 5K Challenge
(CNS): Registration for this year’s Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge is set to open next week. In Grand Cayman, participants can sign up at the Government Administration Building (GAB) on 7, 8, 14 and 15 April from 10am to 3pm as well as 21 and 22 April from 9am to 4 pm.
Artwork added to permanent National Gallery collection
(CNS): The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI) has recently acquired two works of art, courtesy of Atlantic Star Ltd. The two pieces, by Maureen Andersen-Berry and Bendel Hydes, will join the National Gallery’s ever-growing permanent collection of more than 200 works of art.

Pedal power drives Kiwanis fundraiser
(CNS): The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman recently held their 34th Annual KiwaniBike where close to 150 cyclists rode 20 miles, from the Blow Holes in East End to Smith Cove in South Sound. Event chairperson Monique Bush thanked everyone for participating in the fundraiser, which took in almost $7,000.
