Cayman’s U-15 team leads group at CFU championships
(CNS): The Cayman Islands Under-15 Boys National Football Team has won its first two matches in the group stage of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Championships in Anguilla, beating St. Lucia 2-0 on Saturday, 8 August, and the US Virgin Islands 4-0 the following day.
CUC powers summer of learning for interns
(CNS): This summer, 19 students have been taking part in the Caribbean Utilities Company’s (CUC) annual vocational and internship programme. The nine university-level students began at various times throughout May and June, and the 10 high school participants started 7 July.

(CNS): The Cayman Islands Under-15 National Boys Football Team will be competing in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Championships taking place in St. Maarten and Anguilla from 8-16 August. With the traditional CONCACAF Under-15 Championships postponed this year, the CFU has organised a scaled-down version of the competition with 12 countries participating.

Future of Cayman rugby looks bright
(CNS): Cayman Junior Rugby took a record travelling party of more than 70 players to the Bahamas for the Freeport Junior Rugby Festival 2015 to play against teams from Freeport Rugby Club and Nassau Rugby Club. The teams represented were Under 19s, Under 14s, Under 12s and the Under 10s.
