CI Public Library Service provides e-books
Further to the closure of all Cayman Islands Public Libraries due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Cayman Islands Public Library Service (CIPLS) announces an online eBook service to assist with educational and recreational reading. Accordingly, the CIPLS will provide library members and non-members of all ages, with access to over 33,000 eBooks and journals.
Library bringing books on the road
(CNS Local Life): The Cayman Islands Public Library Service (CIPLS) is bringing books to those residents who would otherwise have difficulty getting to a library. The service’s bookmobile will carry reading materials to individual seniors, residents of retirement homes, and other adult populations with limited mobility.
New librarian checks in
(CNS Local Life): Kevin Goring, who was recently appointed as a librarian for the Cayman Islands Public Library Service (CIPLS), will provide general library services, and assist with outreach, planning, promotion, coordination and implementation of programming offered through or by the service to support the recreational, educational and information-access needs of its patrons.
Summer readers awarded for efforts
