Charitable donations replace client gifts
(CNS Local Life): This Christmas, instead of giving gifts to their clients, two companies are donating the money they would have spent to charities in Cayman. The clients of CML and Nova were asked to choose the recipient charities through an online poll and the money was divided among the selected non-profits.
DG’s 5K Challenge to benefit five good causes
(CNS Local Life): The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge is celebrating its fifth anniversary by selecting five good causes to benefit from the 2018 event, which takes place in April. Firm dresses down to fight childhood hunger
(CNS): More than 160 staff from Maples and Calder and MaplesFS took part in the recent island-wide dress-down day to support Feed Our Future. Each participant wore a signature red T-shirt and raised more than US$8,000 for the local charity for a second year in a row.
